Sautéed Portabella Mushrooms
- 3 to 4 fresh garlic cloves, smashed and chopped
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Portabella mushrooms – I use sliced or whole
- Salt and pepper
- Red pepper flakes
Smash the whole garlic cloves with the side of a large knife or cleaver and chop a bit.
Sauté the garlic in a little olive oil for a few minutes, until it just begins to brown.
Add the mushrooms and continue to sauté.
Season with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes to taste.
