The incidence of type II diabetes is increasing at an alarming rate, and is predicted to escalate and affect an increasing number of individuals. It’s no coincidence that a recent report projects obesity rates to rise in Florida to affect 58.6% of adults in the year 2030, if the problem is left unaddressed. Increased obesity rate is directly linked to the increased incidence of Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus in addition to cardiovascular disease and certain forms of cancer.
