Doc’s Blackberry Ginger Baked Apple

Prep Time: 5 min, Cook Time 45-50 min.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium to large apple of your choice
  • 1-2 tablespoons CardioMender, MD Blackberry Ginger Dark Balsamic Vinegar
  • ~ Half to 1 cup water
  • Several shakes of cinnamon
  • Optional: Whole Earth Brand Stevia Leaf & Monk Fruit Sweetener or Doc’s Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Partially core the apple from the top leaving a thin layer of apple and skin on the bottom to retain the topping

Place cored apple in a small baking pan that has a half inch of water on the bottom

Add 1-2 tablespoons of the CMMD Blackberry Ginger Balsamic Vinegar pouring half inside the cored apple and half dripped over the skin

Top apple with several shakes of cinnamon

Place pan in oven for 45-50 min until fully cooked and remove from oven and let cool

Spoon on blackberry ginger sauce formed on the bottom of the pan as it cools

Optional: Top with Several Shakes of Whole Earth Brand Stevia Leaf & Monk Fruit Sweetener or Doc’s Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe
