Our valuable team members
Erica is an NCCPA certified Physician Assistant with an interest in obesity medicine. She graduated from medical school in Buenos Aires, Argentina and was then offered a position in HIV/AIDS medical research at the University of Miami. Darren believes that working at CardioMender, MD is the perfect place for him to get a great deal of satisfaction from helping others get in shape and feel better about themselves. Rider is a Medical Doctor, born in the Dominican Republic. He moved to Santo Domingo to embark on a career in medicine, graduating 5 and a half years later with honors from Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo. At the moment Rider is in the process of preparing and polishing his knowledge and skills to obtain his practice licensure and be able to put them in service within the US healthcare system. Soon after high school, Jannara enrolled at the School of Health Careers in Fort Lauderdale to pursue her aspirations of becoming a Medical Assistant. After graduating, she spent five years as an MA at an Internal Medicine practice in Margate, Florida. To find out more about Jannara, click here
After spending 25 years in the Retail Loss Prevention industry, Felicia obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, following her heart to become a Medical Assistant. She graduated “Magna Cum Laude” from American Institute To find out more about Felicia, click here
Maxbel is a Medical Doctor, having graduated with honors from Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo in Dominican Republic in October 2012. At the moment, Maxbel is a certified medical assistant working to obtain her medical license in the US.

Dr. Schiff’s interest in weight management evolved from years of observing his patients experience the vicious cycle of recurring health issues which were direct consequences of being overweight. His current work directly confronts the subject of being overweight and obese, both of which can have serious health consequences.
