Healthy Recipe – Doc’s Chia Seed Pudding
Chia Seed Pudding is Power-Packed
Chia seeds are a power-packed food high in protein, phytonutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and dietary fiber in the right proportions. They are a low glycemic index food.
Chia is a gluten free grain. People with known sensitivity to gluten or celiac’s disease can safely add it to their diet.
Ingredients:
This recipe is easily scaled up. The following gives the basic proportions:
- 1 Vanilla CardioMender, MD Anytime Shake (RTD, Ready-To-Drink)
- 6 Tablespoons chia seeds
Directions:
- Combine the 2 ingredients in a jar, cover and shake well.
- Refrigerate for a few hours until set.
- You can, but do not need to, give a shake every few hours until fully set.
